A member asked:

I have group b strep but allergic to most antibiotics?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Get straight answer: Please forgive my frankness. You can't go through life being "allergic to most antibiotics". What REALLY happens? Mild side effects aren't allergy. Sooner or later, you're likely to be seriously sick and REALLY need an antibiotic; and it's time to sort with your physician now to decide which allergies are genuine. Is this a strep B infection that needs Rx? Insist on a straight answer from your Dr.
