? not treated : 9mm stone is too large to pass spontaneously and thus requires intervention either by extracorporeal-shockwave-lithotripsy (ESWL) or ureteroscopically by laser lithotripsy. You also need to know whether obstructing stone was causing hydronephrosis or cause is intrinsic ureteropelvic junction causing urinary stasis which predisposes to stone formation. Good Luck
