Can you tell me for people that had preeclampsia did you know before the doctor told you what were some of your symptoms?

Only one: The only symptom you can detect on your own is swelling in the legs but not all swelling is due to preeclampsia. The other symptoms are: hyperreflexia, protein in the urine, and high blood pressure. You can't detect these very easily on your own.
