With a prosthetic: If you have teeth extracted, you won't have any natural teeth to chew with. If the teeth are replaced with prosthectics (either fixed or removable) you should be just fine. Talk to your dentist about your options.

If you have a super soft diet you can but there are a lot of problems that arise from not restoring missing teeth. Please talk with your dentist to come up with a plan to restore the missing teeth.
