Ineffective: make sure you are up to date with your doctor visits. consider a low glycemic diet, daily exercise for 30-60 mins, minimal alcohol consumption. keep stress low with prayer/meditation/exercise. consider seeing a nutritionist. if you starve yourself, then the body will adapt and you will not lose weight. aim to loose 1-2 lbs/week which equates to cutting 500-1000 calories/day.
