Diet and physical exercise remain the mainstay of any weight loss program. Joining a weight loss group or program may help in keeping you focused and keeping up with realistic goals. Controlling your calorie intake is otherwise critical, but only a part of a comprehensive weight loss program.

Eating once or twice a day would not matter. You need to reduce your intake of food and increase physical activity, i.e. exercise more. Joining a support group may help. Once you lose some weight and need to lose more, you will need to reduce your food consumption further. Wish you good health!
