Is there a best sleeping positions for inguinal hernia?

WhateversComfortable: There is no specific position that i would recommend if one has a hernia. However, following hernia repair, many patients have told me that getting out of bed is quite difficult the first few days after surgery; this is made much easier by sleeping in a reclining chair.
