Surgery: It all depends on your anatomy. Both options are valid options. Your surgeon will give you their opinion on what you specifically need. None of us here would do anything but defer to your surgeon on the ground taking care of you in person.

Take your pick: Both have there pros and cons depending on your particular situation. All in all, the long term outcomes for both are essentially equivalent. That being said, the laparoscopic approach typically gets patients back to their normal daily activities faster.
