Cystoscopy: Have you had a flexible cystoscopy or bladder function studies? Has your urine been cultured for infection. I would consult with your urologist.

Chronic UTI: What type of prostate surgery did you have? Are you retaining your urine? Have your upper tracts been assessed? What type of infection-has it been the same bacteria, or some other organism (eg yeast)? Are you diabetic and prone to infections? There are too many questions unanswered-you would be best re-evaluated by a urologist; and if you've been rx'd for 2 years by one, then you need a better MD.

Need 2nd opinion: Either go back to the urologist who operated on your prostate or get a second opinion from another urologist. Not an uncommon problem but is fixable.
