Variable: Doses of Trazodone needed for insomnia are variable, and depend on the person plus other medications being taken. Please discuss this "high" with your prescribing physician. The 25mg dose may be helpful -- if you've tried it and it works, you have your answer.

If it works: then it is adequate. Each person is different. Dose needed for each person can be very different.
