Most of the time: Headaches tend to be a short term side effect but like everything else you need to way the pros and cons. If the trazadone helps with your insomnia and you can tolerate the headaches until they stop, usually within a weeks time, then do so. If the headaches do not cease, they are too troublesome or medicine is not effective for insomnia then go back to your prescriber for an alternative. Take care.

Alternative: Consult with your doctor for an alternative to trazodone. This really has a lot of nasty side effects that can mess you up.
