A member asked:

At what age should children start dosing & administering their own daily prescript meds?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Adolescence: My general rule is around ages 10-11 in that ore-adolescent time period. Basically if they can take pills they should dose themselves. That doesn't mean there shouldn't be parental oversight, but it's a good rule to follow so that they learn responsibility for their health early.
