A member asked:

Can allergies or infection be developed from stress. also can mold cause anxiety type symptoms?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

NO: Stress and anxiety do not produce infection or allergy, although similar symptoms may occur due to somatization. Mold, which is ubiquitous, does not generally produce any symptoms of anxiety. If this continues you might want to consult with a clinical psychologist or psychiatrist.
