Infertility: Both can affect fertility. Which is "worse" is open to question and for the most part immaterial. Chlamydia have a greater chance of being less symptomatic and thereby going untreated, with progressive inflammation of fallopian tubes and therefore infertility.

Both: Chlamydia is harder to detect and in women is notorious for causing pelvic adhesions and tubal damage. We usually treat for chlamydia if someone tests positive for gonorrhea.
