"Rapid testing" ?'s: "Rapid testing" for gonorrhea and chlamydia is possible, although as yet not a general practice, and is available in ED's. You are advised to call the particular ED to make sure it is available. This kind of testing is not 100% reliable (only about 85%). Best is to have cultures done at a physician's office, as sensitivities to specific antibiotics can be determined, if positive.
