HSV-1, - oral herpes: This herpes causes sores around the mouth and lips. It is a contagious condition with symptoms typically appear as a tiny blister or as multiple blisters on or around affected areas. There is no cure for herpes simplex. Once a person has the virus, it permanently dormant remains in the body. Hope it helps.
