Picture or more: detail should clarify. Are they whitish? blister-like? Open or ulcerated? You already told us they aren't itchy. Without itchiness, probably not allergy .Canker sores/bacterial infections would probably be red. Still might be oral herpes ("cold sores") but these should be painful/burn. Sounds like no treatment needed now except lip balm; observe for further changes as clues for cause. Stay well!
