Herpes Simplex?: Sounds like simple Herpes simplex sore. They are somewhat painful (cold sore) and follow a viral infection. Blistex is often used (over the counter) but there R newer anti-viral agents that work faster. How R U feeling otherwise? If Blistex does not work in a couple days, show it to your primary. Do not try to bust it like a pimple.
