Sinus: This sounds like allergies possibly mixed with infection. You need to be evaluated to treated properly.

Allergic Rhinitis?: Given the three year length of your problem, it sounds more like allergy than infection. Have you consulted with your pcp or an allergist? Have you had a trial of a long-acting antihistamine such as loratidine? Your problem could be allergic rhinitis.
