Is mri scan good as ct scan for identifying why i have persistent abdominal pain for last 6 months.

Possibly so: Some times it is a personal preference amount physicians as to which modality you might need. My preference is for ct. For me, MRI is still a good problem solver. Ct is still quick easy and cheaper than the mri. Still you should check with your physician.
