When are pvcs dangerous? have been experiencing occasional bouts of pausing and hard restarting thumps while walking. gp just said it was normal.

General rule: It's not the nature or number of pvcs that determines danger, it's underlying condition of the heart. Frequent pvcs in a normal heart are benign. Few pvcs in the setting of a heart attack are ominous. Hopefully your gp has evaluated you for occult heart disease?

I have had PVCsfor 34 years. Im 58. Had work up years ago-benign. At the worst I may get 1-2 every few minutes. Other times I may get 1-2(or less)/hour.I have no symptoms with them. Walk 5miles/day & get none or few Is this too many or dangerous?
