White stains: Your teeth look entirely how well you cared for them while wearing braces. They could look perfect or the way you described "are yellower and have white spots" , also called white scars or decalcification. Unfortunately, these white stains are usually permanent. Get a professional cleaning and wait at least a month before any whitening treatment. Use Fluoride treatment 2X per year.

White spots: White spots are an unfortunate effect of poor hygiene during braces. Sometimes they can be reversed. See your dentist and ask about mi paste for this. Whitening products will not help.

Different problems: Yellow color may be extrinsic (and will clean off( or intrinsic (the natural color of your teeth. If you saw anorthodontic specialist he/she will have pictures of our teeth from before braces placed that can be used for comparison.. White decalcified areas are from hygiene neglect during treatment. Mi paste may help remineralize if used within 2 weeks of braces removal. See your dentist.

Post Ortho issues: Start with a professional cleaning to remove all stains. Speak to your General Dentist about tooth whitening, remineralizing pastes, and tooth colored composite bonding. Any one or all of these may be required to restore your teeth to a healthy natural look.
