Why is my oab better when i am on my period?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Good question: I am unaware of any specific research on this topic and is not something that I have heard from my oab patients. That said, there are physiological changes and hormonal fluctuations that may be responsible. A shift in Progesterone and estrogen levels can relax the urethra and fluctuations in the levels of prostaglandins can cause your uterus and bladder to contract. I suspect the answer lies there.
