A member asked:

What foods don't have iron and are good for the liver?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Iron in food: It is easier to say what does have iron: red meat, egg yolks, dark leafy greens (spinach, collards), dried fruit (prunes, raisins), iron-enriched cereals, mollusks (oysters, clams, scallops), turkey/chicken giblets, legumes (beans, lentils, chickpeas, soybeans), liver, & artichokes. "natural health" websites promote certain foods for liver health, but these aren't proven. A balanced diet is best.
