Soy: I know two vegan bodybuilders. It sounds as if you need to have a serious talk with your personal physician and/or a competent dietician. If you have chosen vegetarianism for moral reasons, I'm glad to hear it. Why not hit the gym hard -- there may be vegetarian fitness people who'd like to meet you.

In addition to the: good advice you've already been given, you might consider taking a whey protein (from free range cows - organic) shake each morning. Sublingual vitamin B12 is helpful because most of our B12 is from meat. Peace and good health from a fellow (ethical) vegetarian.
