Return: Please have your dentist/oral surgeon check and see why you are having toothache. Was your tooth remove to eliminate the pain you are describing? Was your tooth infected deeply--if this is the case, the nerve inside the bone still needs to heal and it will take a while. "Toothache" after tooth removal is not frequent, but your dentist may be able to tell you by knowing your specific condition.

Be patient: Is it normal to get a pain, like a toothache feeling in the extraction area. Give it some more time (7-10 days), but if pain persists call you doctor for reevaluation. The dentist always will be supportive. Take care.

Timeframe?: Normal for a couple of days. If pain decreased then returned, may be dry socket. Sometimes adjacent tooth also bad. See DDS for re-evaluation
