Orthodontist: Seek the help of an orthodontist. Do not try to treat yourself with rubber bands. Once you damage the bony support of those teeth by trying to treat yourself, you'll be sorry you did not let a professional help you.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!: This can be dangerous. If elastic slips up under gums can cause tooth loss. Know also if you close space between two from teeth you open space between 1st and 2nd teeth on each side. Ask both your general dentist and an orthodontic specialist for suggestions as to closing the space safely, efficiently, and producing a stable result. Best result may be from doing both.
