Cheaper?: do you want cheap, or do you want long lasting high esthetic quality. You can have either, but not both. There are 2 ways to address excess space. Non-sufrgically teeth can be moved to close space. Surgically teeth can be be reshaped to close space. Both have advantages and disadvantages. Discuss options with BOTH your General dentist and an Orthodontist.

Cheap ?: Determine the cause of the spacing first. Genetic ? Malpositioned teeth? Tongue thrust? You want treatment with results that last, but often the cure will not be cheap. Consult with a local orthodontist.
