A member asked:

What to do if i'm 16 years old. can i go to the doctor for anti- depressants without my parents?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: In most if not all states you would need to be an emancipated minor (court proceeding) to sign permission for health services on your own. There are some exceptions. You will need to bring your parents into the decision process.
