Let me ask a question! Did you ask for moulds (study models) of your teeth? Were you refused? We do not give patients models as a routine, but if you want then ask for them There will probably be a charge forwhich you will have to pay.

If you were satisfied with the results of your treatment than a impression of your teeth is not needed. A picture of your teeth and profile before and after treatment is all that's needed. A mold can break and discolor.

Your orthodontist will probably retain the models as a record of your tooth positions at completion of treatment. Again, your orthodontist is your best source for answers to your questions.

The molds of your teeth are part of your health care records. Your Orthodontist must keep them for future reference. If you want a set, your Orthodontist can have a set made for you. The cost would be determined by what the orthodontic Laboratory charges him/her.
