It varies.: It varies depending on the kind of med you took and how your body reacted to the med. If you are still having trouble sleeping, then see your physician to discuss the issue. Try vigorous exercise in the AM, avoid naps, avoid food and caffeine w/i 2 hrs. of bedtime and have a regular bedtime schedule. Don't engage in stressful activities prior to sleep. Try melatonin 2-3 mg prior to sleep.
