A member asked:

How much time does a gout swelling take to heal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: on how long swelling has been present as well as severity. Also depends on how effective and quickly gout is treated. Normally swelling subsides within 3 to 4 days of effective treatment for an acute attack.
