Blood in stool: There is bleeding somewhere in your GI tract. Possible causes of blood in stool include: fissures, fistulas, hemorrhoids, cancer, ulcers, infections, inflammation, Diverticular disease & Angiodysplasia . Get evaluated if more than a one time occurrence.

Needs to be checked : Blood in the stool needs to be checked by your doctor.The commonest cause at your age is hemorrhoids.But there are other causes like a polyp,Fissure,Inflammation constioation and Cancer.Consult your Doctor or a Gastroenterologist.You will need examination and may need colonoscopy if doctor feels it is indicated to find the cause and appropriate treatment
