Rectal bleeding: Rectal bleeding is abnormal and could simply be due to hemorrhoids which were irritated by frequent loose stools. However other causes include more serious entities such as ulcerative colitis,infectious colitis,diverticulosis or growths in the colorectal area. You should be examined by your physician for diagnosis and treatment. He/she may refer you to a gastroenterologist.
