Some: My favorite natural remedies to reduce swelling after an ankle injury are castor oil massages starting from toes up to knees, ice packs, elevation, light compression. Its unlikely a localized injury can get a reduction in edema by eating a certain food, however Bananas and celery are great for reducing general swelling...they won't hurt to try if not allergic!
