What are the new vaccines for seniors over 65 safe?

Dr. Joel Ross answered

Vaccines: The herpes zoster (Shingles) vaccine is probably a good choice for seniors who wish to reduce their risk (not totally eliminate the risk of shingles) of shingles. Consult with your doctor if it is the right choice for you. The use of annual influenza viral vaccination is also highly recommended.
