Appears to be: The approval process for any vaccine takes decades & this one is no exception. The FDA requires a mountain of testing documentation before approving one. About 1/3 of patients will have transient muscle pain, fatigue, headache or other such symptoms. However, this new vaccine seem to protect a higher percentage of patients sooner and for longer than the earlier vaccine.
