Hi docs, is it true that psychologists and/or psychiatrists are able to treat pedophilia?

Yes: Both are trained to treat a wide variety of mental illnesses and/or personality disorders, or in this case pedophilia. Treatment for pedophilia is very specialized and usually goes better with a combination of individual and group psychotherapy, coupled with monitoring by an outside source (P.O., Social Services, Courts) if the pedophile has offended. PX for cure is guarded, statistically.

Pedophilia has a: poor prognosis rate. Mental health and social work professionals try to help people control and contain this behavior. 12 step programs and other group support programs can be helpful.
