Are ibs and appendicitis connected? i'm really worried.

No connection.: The symptoms are quite different. Acute appendicitis is a medical emergency. The onset is sudden and progressive. Pain usually is localized in right side of low abdomen and associated with fever. Where as ibs symptoms are chronic intermittent and not associated with fever.
