Not Normally: IBS is usually lower intestinal inorigin and symptoms (gas, bloating, diarrhea) while heartburn is due to acid from the stomach getting into the esophagous and causing irritation. I am not aware that there is a connection, but would not be surprised if there was. Either way, if the heartburn occurs frequently you should see your doctor to see if you need treatment.
