Can docs please explain are cancer symptoms persistent or do they come and go?

Persistent: Once symptoms develop as a result of a malignancy as the tumor grows the associated symptoms are enhanced. If one looks at metastasis to bone causing pain, failure to control disease causes enhancement in pain. When pancreatic CA produces jaundice, lack of treatment causes progression of jaundice . Metastasis to spinal dura if not controlled will lead to paralysis. Symptoms are not intermittent
