Definitely!: Preeclampsia is a common obstetric complication. It does tend to recur in subsequent pregnancies, sometimes earlier than in the previous pregnancy. It is important to discuss your history with your obstetrician so that she may appropriately monitor your future pregnancies for an early signs of preeclampsia and determine if you are a candidate for aspirin therapy.
