TNF Inhibitors: All of the medications offered to your child work in similar ways the difference is how the meds are given. Humira (adalimumab) is an injection that can be done at home every two weeks, while remicaide is an IV medication that must be done in an infusion unit or hospital. These medication have similar side effects and benefits. My advice is try the medication that is least disruptive to your lifestyle.
