Growth curve: At 5 months your baby being 8 kg is around the 95% for weight. That is more than "average", but must be taken in context. What did your baby weigh when she was born? What was her length then and now? By plotting those measurements in a growth chart your pediatrician can tell you whether your daughter is growing appropriately or not.
