Intriguing: Certainly is possible. I would stop the Clarithromycin now. Use steam to encourage drainage. Make sure you r well hydrated and well nourished. See if the pins/needles goes away in a day or so.. If not, see you doc. Btw, most sinus infections do not require antibiotics. Time, drainage, Ibuprofen is generally all you need. Yes: Although not typical side effects, these could certainly be related and caused by mercilon and clarithromycin.
