Nerve pain: The needle insertion site should be monitored for signs of infection including pus, redness and swelling. The pins/needles and tingling may be associated with nerve inflammation due to the needle insertion. Rest, drink fluids, monitor your temperature and use Motrin for pain relief. If the pain/tingling and other symptoms continue, please notify your PCP immediately.
