2 years ago i developed a scaly, bumpy patch on the outside of my calf without raised edges or central clearing like ringworm. now i have the same on my thigh. my grandmother did have psoriasis.

Mystery rash: Without a picture a diagnosis is difficult. It is first useful to know of you have exposure to cats and kittens as ring worm (a fungal infection) can be passed. First try otc lamisil (terbinafine). Next have you been exposed to tick bites in a lymes endemic areas. Additionally psoriasis, lupus and other autoimmune disorders are of concern. However your rah does not sound typical of psoriasis.
