25yo female recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism. found multinodular goiter and cyst filled nodules during thyroid sonogram. what is the next step?

See a specialist: See an endocrinologist who deals with thyroid nodules. You may need a needle biopsy/aspiration of the cyst/nodule, but it depends on what it looks like on ultrasound.

Simple: Treat the hypothyroidism.. Either your PCP or maybe endocrine can help you. You might need a fine needle aspiration if any of the nodules are large enough. Thyroid nodules are common, especially in women. Don't be too worried, just follow up for rest of workup and treatment.
