I have a 3mm thyroid nodule (cyst). labs are normal. i still have all the symptoms of hypothyroidism. doc says to come back in 6 months. help.

Doc is correct: A 3 mm thyroid cyst has no clinical significance. Symptoms of hypothyroidism are nonspecific and generally common in the population (especially fatigue and weight gain). If your thyroid levels are normal, there is likely a different cause for your symptoms.
