Maybe rheumatologist: Many of your disease symptoms can be seen in systemic sclerosis which is a serious form of scleroderma. Systemic sclerosis is an autoimmune disease that can involve arthritis, tight shiny skin, lung disease, serious kidney disease and gastroesophageal reflux. Diabetes is not part of systemic sclerosis but you can have both. Ask for a referral to see a rheumatologist if not already seeing one.
